CPHFW SS26: As The Garment Walks Through The Archway

Hej Fashionistas!
The Garment unveiled their Spring/Summer 2026 collection outdoors under beautiful archways in Christiansborg Ridebane, Copenhagen. The brand is known for timeless craftsmanship, versatile design, a focus on impeccable knitwear and precise tailoring. This collection does not fall short of that at all! Let’s take a look, starting with my favorite dresses from the show:
The first dress is a long knit dress with an alabaster-like tan color and cut that hugs the model’s curves perfectly. It reminds me of old Athens—even Istanbul, today, during the summer. I like that she is holding what I believe is a matching shawl in her hand instead of wearing it. It was a nice contrast to some of the other looks where the model is wearing the scarf or shawl. This dress as you can see hangs just long enough to cover the ankles but not the matching flats underneath. Peek-a-boo effect there!
The second dress is a flowy, strappy camisole white linen dress. Very free and breezy for summer heat. It’s simple and elegant and let’s the legs move widely underneath as it has slits up to the thighs on both sides. I like that the wind blowing during the show let’s the dress hug the model’s body in the torso area and flow away from the body towards the bottom. This model is wearing similar tan ballet flats as the first model above. Great on the feet for a cobblestone catwalk.
Now let’s check out my favorite two- and three-piece ensembles below:
The first look is a beautiful two piece white linen ensemble paired with a flowing white trench, beige loafers and a toffee brown waist belt. This look is very business casual but not too stiff looking. It reminds me of fashion goals for travel. Personally, I always think it’s nice to dress well while traveling even if you’re trying to stay comfortable. This design is that for me. Comfy but well put together for hopping of a boat, plane or train to head to any event you want to show up in style for.
The second look is (and the third) has the scarf element I mentioned the contrast of when I was talking about the first dress I picked above as one of my favorites. The model is wearing the scarf rather than holding it. Hands-free and styles the look a little differently. I like the change in shoes here as well. This three piece slacks, structured sleeveless top and matching long blazer is paired with black leather loafers. This gives it a slightly more serious feel but the scarf in a matching color lightens that up a bit. It’s a nice juxtaposition.
The third and last look that I picked is a belted, loose slacks and oversize flowing trench set with a white linen button down and matching sheer scarf that flows behind the model, all paired over dark brown loafers. The previous ensemble kept the same color tone beautifully while this ensemble provides color contrast and material contrast underneath the outwear. The rolled up sleeves on the trench, a wonderful coat for every season, is a nice, relaxed touch as well!
