CPHFW SS26: In The Courtyard With Taus

Hej Fashionistas! Taus is a new ready-to-wear and demi-couture Danish brand based in Copenhagen that started just last year in 2024. What’s beautiful is Taus approaches fashion as you would experience an exhibition in an art gallery, as a conversation, an open dialogue between past and present, object and body, maker and wearer. The beauty lies in that we already love talking about fashion why not wear it as such. This speaks to the ideas of slower fashion and dressing with intention that is being embraced recently over unsustainable fast fashion.

CPHFW SS26: Sunflower Gets Rustic 🌻

Hej Fashionistas, Sunflower gets rustic in this show! The matted car as the backdrop with the audience behind it is just as cool as the models and pieces they are wearing standing in front of this cool, rustic car. Who needs a new, polished, shiny car? Way too flashy, right?! Hello Sunflower, a label designed in Copenhagen, unveiled their Spring/Summer 2026 collection per their well known authority on menswear and it is one that represents something real and something lasting for men’s daily lives. While I love the car and could definitely go on about it and my love for cars, let’s focus on my four favorite picks from Hello Sunflower’s collection below:

CPHFW SS26: Baum und Pferdgarten Equine Mode

Hej Fashionistas! Baum und Pferdgarten is a Danish brand started by Royal Danish Academy of Design alumni Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave. They unveiled their Spring/Summer 2026 collection outdoors under the beautiful August skies touting a very equestrian motif in the pieces worn by the models strutting down a cobblestone runway. The brand’s name Baum und Pferdgarten, if translated literally from German to English, means “tree and horse garden”, so the show location and design theme of this collection was very fitting! Check out the images below of my top picks from this collection and then let’s get into each ensemble!
